Mummy's Pies: Crafting Tradition Through Crisis

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Mummy’s Pies emerged as a symbol of resilience. Created by the spirited Mummy Ġuża, this brand began as a humble endeavour to share the authentic flavours of Gozo with the world.

Fuelled by a desire to preserve tradition amidst difficult times, Mummy Ġuża started crafting traditional Gozo cheese and Lampukini pies in her kitchen. As demand grew, she expanded her repertoire, introducing Rabbit and Ricotta pies, each imbued with the essence of Gozitan culinary heritage.

What sets Mummy’s Pies apart is not just the quality ingredients, but the labour of love infused into each pie. Every crust, every filling is meticulously prepared according to tradition, reflecting Mummy Ġuża’s unwavering dedication and passion.

Today, Mummy’s Pies stands as a beacon of tradition and comfort, the taste of home and heritage that can light our way of life.
